The best thing about spring/summer; you can finally wear those beautiful gowns, that have been hanging around in your closet all winter, dying to come out.
Here I would like to share with you one, that has caught my eye. A beautiful silk blue gown by KENZO. What I love about this dress, is the simple cut, and because it is made of out silk, it drapes beautifully on your body, especially with the detailing in front.
Two years ago, KENZO made its return among young fashionistas, with the creation of the now iconic tiger sweatshirt. However, besides the popular sportswear-look, they still create beautiful classic pieces, which always have a twist.
The brand was founded by Kenzo Takada, who moved from Japan to Paris in the mid 60’s to become a fashion designer. He started by combining different fabrics from flea sales, as he couldn’t afford to buy fabric. The house of Kenzo dates back to 1970, when the first “Jungle Jap” boutique was opened. Whereas today, we still see this jungle-theme, which became KENZO’s trademark.
