For as long as I can remember I love suits, I think they are amazing for both men and women, however, a man in a suit really works magic on me.
“a well-tailored suit is to women what lingerie is to men”
You can wear a suit for many occasions, and for a change, it’s something totally different then a dress. The suit I’m wearing here is from Mauro Grifoni, an Italian designer. What makes a suit great is the cut, when I’m wearing a suit, I still want to look feminine, a good cut makes you pull this off.
When investing in a suit, and if you want it to last, don’t just look at the design but also the color. A white or beige suit works well in summer but can also be worn in winter, it’s more of an eye-catcher. A black or dark-blue suit creates a more formal look, which is good for work or special occasions. Then there is a whole color spectrum, like; pink, green, purple, or red. I do like colorful suits, however, I would only buy an outspoken color as an addition. You will wear it not as easy as for example a light or dark one.
I wonder if you can recall the scene of Sarah Jessica Parker in the first Sex and the City movie, where she wore a black suit to the wedding. I loved that outfit, It’s the perfect example of a great feminine suit.
Try something different this year, especially with the upcoming festive season. I’m very curious to see how you would wear it, please tag me in your photos on Instagram: MsAndersun, and my favorite look will win a goodiebag!
Looking forward to your looks..
